Pros

A lot of the team members were very talented and nice.

Cons

Terrible culture, was so happy the day that I left. PS all the 5 star reviews are fake.

Pros

Seamless is an intersting company. I see a lot of people on here complaining about certain things I never encountered (being pressured to leave glassdoor reviews, buying the CEO's book, etc.) Not to say they didn't happen ever, it just didn't happen to me when i was hired. Remote is great. The people there are great. Direct managers really want to see you succeed and are willing to help you every step of the way. Higher ups... we'll get to that. The people are super chill, just fun to be around and like to talk (typical of a sales role). The base pay is pretty good, but people pretty much never hit quota so OTE is kinda moot. It's a good product and a good industry fit.

Cons

Where do I begin... I decided to give it 1 star because whenever I see tons of reviews of people saying there were no cons. I am sure they are fake, so I wanted to even it out (I'd give it 3 stars) I once heard a higher up say that they wouldn't change quota because it would change the OTE, but if nobody is hitting quota isn't it time to rethink that? The quota is a huge problem. Nobody hits it, except a select few who are REALLY good SDR's. They are always hiring because of how often they fire people (it's about 10-15 new SDR's per month) Having to sit in a google meet all day really sucks. I was told when I was hired that there were 2 90 minute increments where you could leave the google meet, which wasn't true. The one time I did it I got a slack message asking where I went 15 minutes after I left. The tech stack sucks, hard. They continually change the rules regarding meetings because they are scrambling to make things work when they clearly don't. Upper management is super money hungry, they really don't care about the people. I knew when I got hired that Seamless wasn't a great company but I figured a bad job was better then no job. I'm rethinking that now because of how depressed I was since starting seamless. I was kind of amazed when I got fired because I realized all the stress, anxiety, and depression was gone.

Pros

If you’re an AE, you don’t have to prospect, SDRs set all of your meetings for you.

Cons

I don’t want to do this but the fact that their rating is so high makes me feel like others will fall into this trap. First of all, they make current employees put 5 star reviews while working there. They have morning sales meetings and literally part of that meeting is dedicated to talking about getting their ratings up and asking employees to put 5 star reviews. If you look closely at all of the 5 star reviews you’ll see they all follow the same pattern and look as though someone took 5 seconds to put it in there. There’s a reason you can’t find their page on LinkedIn, they are a shady company. There is horrible formal training and guidance. The turnover is extremely high and management would even recommend jotting down wins you had to be able to add to your resume because they knew sooner or later people would be gone.
