This company has been around for 11 years, but you would think it's still in the startup stage from the way it is run.
There is not much process in place for training or long term employee development. If you're looking to join a growing company with a lot of opportunity, you should avoid SearchSpring.
I heard of multiple cases where management will promise an employee a performance review/opportunity for a raise, but will keep pushing it off. Ridiculous. This company does not seem to understand that its most valuable assets are its employees.
The CEO can be a micromanager, and seems insecure that his employees are taking advantage of him. This mindset trickles down and does not make for a fun culture (just my two cents).
There is another co-founder, who still collects a salary even though he doesn't really do anything. He is never in the office, and lives in a different state. I'm not sure why he is still with the company.
Management is ignorant to criticisms and high employee turnover (probably due to a lack of experience of management). It's a fine company if you stick around for a year or two, but there probably isn't a prosperous future for anyone beyond that.
