Diversity and Equality in Successful Part of Business

Pros

As a woman, I've never felt like I have fewer opportunities or lower pay. We have a lot of female leaders in what could be a male-dominated industry. Work-Life balance is better than any company I've worked for, as this is still a Midwestern company with Midwestern family values. Also, I feel like I work in the business unit that has the most potential to be profitable. No matter what is happening on the Retail side, we are the largest repair service provider with a strong future.

Cons

We change directions a lot, without allowing one initiative or plan to take root so that we can see if it had a positive impact. I don't like to get too attached to one way of doing things, because that way will surely change within a few months.

Pros

It's hard to find in any group of employees, someone that has not worked for the company for 20, 30, even 40 years. The vast majority of employees work hard everyday to make the company successful and a better place for employees. Lots of opportunities in management to take on new roles without the need to relocate.

Cons

In today's quickly changing competitive market, Sears is constantly making changes to make the business better. Constant change can be a challenging, but necessary. Also, difficult to recruit for our performing side of business when internet blogs only reporting on challenged retail operations.

Pros

There are no pros with this company.

Cons

Terrible management and awful routing. They do not care about the customer. The only thing they want to do is sell protection agreements and then not repair the items.
