not allowed to make decision effecting YOUR business, always being told what to do according to how senior management wants to see things. Usually it isn't realistic and when you don't hit what "you " said you were going to hit, you have to explain and can't use the reason "that's what I was told to enter in".
in apparel, buyers are located in San Francisco which makes it very difficult to create a team environment, it becomes Inventory Management VS Buying. and the 3 hr time difference creates problems and sometimes means late hours to meet the demand of the buyers.
The company is still stuck in the old ways of doing business. No innovation to advance the company.
