Pros

Coworkers and the day to day interactions at the mid and lower levels are good. Currently employee don't have to pay an outrageous monthly fee to park, hopefully it stays this way. Work life balance is top notch.

Cons

Prioritization is still difficult. It's has gotten better but still much room for improvement. PTO and paid holidays are fine, but still behind direct competitors. Need to continue pushing for diversity in leadership for gender and ethnicity, at the VP level and above.

Pros

Great people you work with daily. Psp plan and pension (don’t get attached, I’m absolutely sure it’s being phased out)

Cons

Bad management from the top down. Just changed disability. Now regardless of how many decades service you have, you get 7 weeks of short term leave. Selling off divisions like a garage sale.

Pros

Good retirement benefits with annual PSP and Defined Benefit Plan. I do not know how much longer the DBP will be around. The company has had financial security with good ratings and pretty much never any negative news headlines. They support continued education, licensing, and designations. There are a lot of women in management positions.

Cons

They recently sold off two departments which makes job security unstable. They are not open to new ideas. You need to stick to their script or else you will be shunned. They forced their employees to get the COVID vaccine. This resulted in employees who had been with the company for 20 or even 25 plus years to be let go. They then reversed the mandate 9 months later after so many had lost their jobs.
