Pros

-The company is undergoing an exciting transformation, expanding into managed services with the launch of our new product, MAX. It’s refreshing to be part of a team that is moving fast and making bold decisions. -The mission truly resonates with top performers—everyone here is motivated by the potential impact we can have in the cybersecurity space. -Leadership is finally addressing long-standing issues. They're phasing out people resistant to change and replacing them with high-caliber talent who are ready to push the company forward. -HR and Product teams have improved significantly. After listening to employee feedback, compensation plans are now more favorable, which boosts morale and retention. -The new C-suite leadership (except a few more tenured execs) is making smart decisions, especially in Product and Engineering. It’s a refreshing shift from the overly political environment we had before. -I love the speed at which we work—if you’re someone who thrives in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment, this place is perfect.

Cons

-The CEO can be overly impatient at times, but at least he's put strong leadership in place to help balance that. There’s still some work to be done in removing outdated mindsets among the longest-tenured executives. - For some, the pace of change might be overwhelming, especially if you're not comfortable with ambiguity or evolving processes.

Poor Leadership and Simply Lacking Human Decency

Pros

A few good coworkers that you forge bonds with

Cons

- I challenge you to find any former employee that an speak positively on the leadership and culture of SSC. Before you join, find someone who used to do your job at SecurityScorecard to know what you're walking into. - The CEO, President and CHRO in particular are 3 of the most toxic individuals. CEO publicly belittles employees and uses phrases like "radical candor" or "SSC is an adolescent organization" as an excuse for lacking basic decency and professionalism. The President and CHRO and two of the most spineless enablers I've ever seen. - There are constant layoffs and the company's growth has slowed dramatically. Most employees do not last long enough to collect meaningful equity. - One story: There were weekly #gratitude-friday posts on Slack at the end of every week. These were supposed to encourage company wide appreciation...but turned into the C-Level team trading compliments with eachother and everyone "thanking" the CEO for his leadership. There were lots of cultish elements to this place.
