Pros

* Excellent work-from-home policy that promotes a strong work-life balance and trusts employees to manage their own schedules. * Inclusive decision-making process where feedback is encouraged and leadership actually listens to input from all levels. * Collaborative environment filled with talented, supportive, and driven individuals who make the day-to-day work enjoyable. *Rich exposure to international teams and diverse cultures, which has been a great learning experience for global collaboration.

Cons

* Typical 'scaling' hurdles as the company moves toward more formal enterprise structures. * Strict production guardrails are in place, which ensures security but adds layers of administrative overhead. * Opportunities exist to better align team cultures during this period of high growth.

Pros

Excellent work-life balance and true remote flexibility make it easy to stay productive without burnout. Leadership is transparent and communicates clearly about expectations and direction. The team culture is supportive, and coworkers are always willing to help troubleshoot and share knowledge. The support role provides valuable hands-on exposure to real-world web filtering, DNS, SSL inspection, network behavior, and security policy enforcement, which directly builds foundational skills relevant to cybersecurity. This is a great environment for anyone looking to gain practical experience and develop technical troubleshooting abilities that transfer into broader security roles.

Cons

Compensation could be more competitive compared to similar technical support roles in the industry, but it is still fair overall. While the experience gained is valuable, salary growth may be gradual depending on role progression and tenure.

Pros

Securly is a company that truly lives and breathes its mission. It is rare to find a team so collectively dedicated to student safety and mental health. Every department—from engineering to renewals—is aligned on the goal of keeping kids safe. The culture is built on genuine care and mutual support; you aren't just a number here, you are a valued member of a team that celebrates each other's successes. I also appreciate the commitment to diversity and the fact that the company hires people who lead with empathy. I am incredibly proud to be a part of this team!

Cons

It’s honestly hard to find traditional "cons" here. The main challenge is the fast-paced, ever-evolving nature of the EdTech world. We are constantly "leveling up," so you must be someone who is willing to learn and adapt quickly. Additionally, while remote work can sometimes feel isolating in any industry, Securly does a wonderful job of ensuring employees feel heard, seen, and valued through consistent communication and intentional connection.
