Pros

Hourly it pays well, but there aren't enough hours to go around. Employees who have been here for years barely get any hours. Only perk is we get to eat chocolate, while at work, for free. We get paid holidays and if you have enough hours for insurance, the health care is decent.

Cons

Compared to other companies, See's does not take care of us. We work weekends and holidays, and it's nearly impossible to take time off when you work in a store that doesn't have many employees. We work alone nearly the whole day in the summer which means breaks are infrequent and you cannot even use the restroom for 4+ hours sometimes. There is no tuition reimbursement, no gym discount, and we rarely make bonus. If you don't call in sick much, your sick hours add up and when you leave the company, you do not get them paid to you.

Pros

It can be a fun job at times if you work with the right people. You can eat as much as you like while your working.

Cons

Constantly cutting hours, so much so that your working by yourself. You stand all day, not allowed to sit. You have to do everything from clean the bathroom, unloading pallets of candy and stocking to aiding customers.

Pros

This review is for the contact center Weekends off during the slow seasons Nice co-workers Employee Store on the job site The customers are not so bad for a call center

Cons

No PTO, yes there are people who have been working here for years who do not get PTO Hunger games environment, someone is always getting fired Write ups if you're 1 minute late for break, lunch, shift regardless of reason Reprimanded if sick even though they tell you stay away. So what happens is people come to work sick so they won't get fired and everyone gets sick. They were telling people with Covid to come in if they feel better even if they are contagious. We were told not to help one another and other manager's cannot help you with issues or speak to you.. Training is terrible You have people working here for almost 10 years STRAIGHT and they still will not change their job title and they do this so they do not have to pay you more. Certain people in the office were given more responsibilities but no pay upgrade Ironically, this happened after they promoted people and told them their new pay rate but FAILED to pay them more until they were asked about it. I know someone who experienced this and she decided to look at her paystub and she was in her role for months and they never changed her pay. They will also keep you as seasonal and never lay you off, but you will never get permanent status You will get fired if a customer complains about you Ugly office building No candy in the break room, the reviews about that are not current. They hardly give out free candy Ghetto Management Terrible to older representatives Training is so bad. The training manual also had so many misspellings it was insane. I can go on and on.
There are too many companies out there for any one to apply here if not desperate. If you're thinking about applying to the contact center, know that there are SEVERAL better companies out there that give you stability with a great work environment. Only do this if you absolutely need the money, but I will tell you now...you can do the same thing at a better company.
