Pros

There are zero pros to Select Rehabilitation

Cons

Will lie about every aspect of job, require 88% productivity and send you home. Force you to commit Medicare fraud to get hours. Will require work off the clock without pay. Documentation is lengthy and hard to use. Managers are untrained and unable to help. See Select Rehabilitation lawsuits.

Pros

Spent 10 yrs w this company…I’ll keep it simple .. just don’t do it . Select is loosing contracts at a fast rate .. and add current reimbursement challenges … It’s a the beginning of the end for all the contract rehab companies . But appears there current “ business model is to just “ milk out” and use/ overwork there staff trying to keep ship a float . This company is desperate and will use there therapists until the end . What do you expect from private equity firm controlling the strings .. and we all know in business.. once equity firms take over because financial issues .. it’s matter time until “ burn and turn “

Cons

Way too many .. see above

Pros

Somewhat flexible hours. Otherwise none.

Cons

Horrible pay. Horrible benefits. Was forced to work with COVID patients without hazard pay then was forced to use my own PTO or go without pay when I inevitably caught COVID from those patients. They push you to pick up patients that are not appropriate for PT and scold you when you aren't able to get your full treatment time in with them. Productivity standards were terrible too. They expected 85% productivity which is not feasible when half your day is spent looking for patients who are ready for PT. I wasn't getting hours at my facility and was begging management to send me elsewhere. Management was so unorganized, another facility reached out to my friend who works PRN to cover shifts. When I complained and stated I needed those hours, I still wasn't sent to that facility. There would be weeks at a time where I was at the facility for 8 hours but only able to bill for 3-4 hours and thus only get paid for 4-5 hours because of the productivity requirements. Obviously that meant I was waiting around unpaid and thus had to find somewhere else to work.
