Pros

Coworkers are really great, for the most part they will have your back and offer help if you ask for it. Pay can be good, but the goals are unreasonable, especially the minimums for the kicker bonus. Only a handful of agents get the full bonus, which means management thinks the rest of us should work for next to nothing.

Cons

Management needs to STOP with the micromanaging and walking the aisles! We are not kindergarteners. I do not need to be distracted with multiple "activity reports" per day. What i need to for management to SHOW they care about our progress and success. Too much change goes on and we agents are always the last to hear about it. Work used to be FUN....not anymore. The style of management we currently have is counter-productive. They insist you are on the phone, even when you're capped and the INVALID leads count toward your cap! The 401K is also really bad for a company this size, this profitable, and that is growing this much. They really need to take care of their employees. Also, the insurance is SO expensive.

Pros

leads till the cows come home; though the cream-of-the-crop leads are distributed to only 5% - 8% of the top agents. do not expect to earn the inflated first yr salary of $75k often referred to during hiring interview.

Cons

paychecks were rarely what I thought they'd be; always having to guess what was paid on and what was not; intra-day and continuous oversight. constant monitoring.

Pros

Plenty of warm leads and access to the best companies and products in the industry. Unbiased, consultative selling focused on creating value for clients. Great compensation and additional incentives like contests and awards trips. Competitive but not cut throat. Very collaborative culture with open doors all the way up to the CEO.

Cons

You have to OK sitting at a desk, in a cubicle, talking on the phone all day. You also have to work at a fast pace because you are expected to handle several-hundred leads each month.
