Pros

Great initial training-yea you will have mock calls with new people and cold call people to practise but honestly I had fun and after 3 weeks I was nervous still but felt more relaxed REMOTE- They send you returning you need computer wise, most senior agents have personal mouses and screens we use , but the ones they send you are very nice. Hours- with my kids I love the m-f 8-5 standard shifts so I can plan around my weekends(excluding hell week-aep) Advancement- promoting from within is active and managers encourage there agents to work hard and provide resources to do so Managers- honesty after 3 years and 6 managers I don't think I have had a single bad manager. All were knowledgable and kind, honestly they will fight for you if you try. I could list more I'll end it here for now

Cons

Atleast for my inital training we started with the expectation of being trained before aep but ended up being rushed at the end and thrown into calls to not miss out on the call experince, I know that's mostly fixed now thankfully Here it comes-long hour during aep but have to give to take. Honestly our employee insurance is expensive Lunch times can be random due to time zones and call expectations, being on the west cost my lunch was scheduled for 3:30-4:30 and I get off at 6 lol had to have it changes this year but this is not first time being on the west coast has screwed me out of a decent lunch time

Pros

It's remote job so that is the only pro I can think of and great training.

Cons

High Pressure Sales Environment: Constant pressure to meet sales targets without adequate support or training can create a stressful work atmosphere. Lack of Work-Life Balance: Expectations to remain on the phone continuously, potentially leading to long working hours without sufficient breaks. Inflexible Work Schedule: Strict adherence to being on-call, making it challenging to manage personal time or emergencies. Limited Career Development: Scarce opportunities for professional growth or advancement within the company. High Employee Turnover: A work environment that leads to dissatisfaction might result in high turnover rates, impacting team cohesion and morale. Lack of Support: Minimal support from supervisors or the team, especially in handling complex customer issues or personal well-being. Pressure to Prioritize Quantity Over Quality: Focus on call quantity may detract from the quality of customer interactions and service.
