I can honestly say the training at select quote is probably the best in the world, being remote is cool, trainers and managers were all easy to work with, no toxicity, easy going culture

Cons

Comp is terrible, you have to do massive volume to make any real money, if you could do a million a year in AP, why would you need select quote? They boast free leads as an advantage over 1099 but a significant portion of those leads are bait and switch leads that think they’re getting free insurance or people who should have never been transferred… and if you’re taking 98% of the profit, are the leads really free?

Pros

Great management, great training, W-2 position, benefits, working remotely. I appreciate the structure of fixed hours. Base pay plus commission based on efficiency, compliance, and performance. Management is very supportive and the company compensates for fulfilling KPI.

Cons

The work is challenging, but well supported. Not really a con, as anything worthwhile takes effort.

When going to a new employer, you never know for sure about the integrity of the organization. I was pleasantly surprised how ethical Selectquote is on every aspect I've encountered. The leaders up and down the organization are top notch in developing employees to be their best to earn lots of money (with integrity). The trainers are top notch too. I referred a former coworker who now works here, and she experienced the same. BTW, referral bonuses are Nice!

Cons

lots of overtime during busy medicare enrollment period in the fall (Oct 15-Dec &).
