Pros

Worst job ever. Harass old people for little pay. Constantly lied to and micromanaged. Run away!

Cons

Everything sucks at selectquote. Do not work here.

Pros

Work from home. Decent health insurance.

Cons

Ever changing performance metrics. They push you to take more calls early, when the conversion numbers are very low company wide and then punish you(reduce lead quality and quantity) for not having a high enough conversion rate. Lead quality is determined by conversion rate. Was frustrating to be selling $35-45k AP monthly and be treated like you're pond scum. I wasn't a top producer there, but anywhere else, those numbers top notch. commission percentages were based on lead quality. You got paid more more for selling a lower quality lead. When they restructure the entire divisions com structure, the commissions were a third of previous amount. I rage quit when my first monthly commission check under the new plan was nearly $7k less than under the old pay scale.

Pros

Its Real and it is Remote

Cons

SelectQuote calls the same person over and over and get them to switch to a different Medicare Advantage Plan as many times as possible. which will screw up their docs and meds and cause serious medical problems for people. If you choose to proceed just know, they will say you help people but you will soon realize that you're job is to reassure them you're going to transfer them to the right place when its always Medicare Advantage Sales. There is always new people applying and being hired. They operate on a revolving door. Most people don't last because the calls are constant unless you're in the low performance teams, which means they'll be threatening to terminate you alot (which leads people to quit.) The metrics are cryptic and they are constantly changing things.
