Pros

I could work from home. There is LITERALLY no other pro.

Cons

Don't believe anything the interviewer or the person they assign to "help" you while your prepping to start tell you. They will literally tell you anything you want to hear if that means you will start. They will tell that the only thing you need is your license and after that you're all set! Its not true, they make you do a BUNCH of other testing that no one tells you about until your sitting in your first day of training. The training wildly under prepares you to on the phones and talking with clients. The whole thing is a JOKE. And those bonuses and ways to make extra money? Forget about, they rig it so you don't actually make anything. Oh and that nice base pay that's so attractive? Yeah, they drop you to under $10 an hour once training is over and no one will tell you until after you've already started working for them.

Pros

•Great earnings potential •Paid training with opportunities for large testing payouts. •Positive and AMAZING training experience. My supervisor was amazing, But not all supervisors are like him. •Working from home is amazing and comfortable. •Affordable dental, visions, and short term disability. •Great 401k match, •Wonderful teammates that helped keep me positive.

Cons

•Long hours during AEP. •Upper management makes decisions with zero transparency. •Large payment adjustment due to overpayment with zero discussion or acceptance of a repayment plan. •Raised enrollment payout tiers during OEP despite lower sales volume and current tiers already being high. •Forced into “SwingForce” Flex Sales Role during the busiest time of the year, AEP, which significantly impacted my earnings as I am not a sales agent. •Long, tedious, and pricy licensing process. Burnout will occur, talking to elderly clients all day is frustrating, especially while trying to do a scripted legal process.

Pros

work from home opportunity with equipment provided

Cons

low pay , terrible bonus pay there is always an adjustment that needs to be made and incorrect statements. Training was for roughly a week and half lots of information to take in before being pushed to phones with one manager to answer questions who is also in charge of about 20+ other reps. I was originally with sales and that training was horrible trainers do not explain in full what to expect, or refreshing on information that was just told . Left more confused from training . You get switched around from department to department with little to no notice very, very often ( you may switched from sales to customer service or enrollment ) and expect you are expected to take in information within 1-2 days on whole new procedures. Scripts get changed often and you are graded on how good you are able to follow these new scripts to perfection without anytime to retain information. Systems to check bonus and commission pay is rarely ever working. Many managers are not there to help, instead you are forced to fend for yourself or ask your coworkers who are just as knowledgeable as you, to help. Change is good but you have to be able to prepare and train employees so that their metrics line up and they are well prepared to assist clients. Very , very long hours during AEP season ( which is like 3 months ) sometimes working 10-12 hours shifts. Expect for your pay during off season to be terrible. Constantly calling the same clients so there isnt a new list of clients to assist, all clients are recycled which does not help with bonus pay since someone else already received credit that specific client. Terrible company .
