Pros

Easy commute, nice views. Gym, always empty.....who has time.

Cons

Inexperienced managers, heavy workload - long days and weekends. Teamwork non existent. Low pay. There is no work/life balance-(that should be a negative star).

Pros

Salary and a few decent coworkers. Location. Decent breakroom. Nice stapler.

Cons

Sooooo many things and I have not been here that long. Horrible work environment and management . They want everyone to be in fear of their jobs and you are absolutely a "lower class" citizen if work on their claims floor (eg. Your thoughts, opinons, feelings, lives in general are of no concern to mgmt). They just really don't care about you or the family you are trying to support. Actually thinking that this creates better work product, seriously? People, there really is no reason to take this industrial age mgmt style (your just a #)..this is the time of employee power. We need to demand better treatment. You'll get lured by salary (divided by then # of hours "expected" and you are making less than min. wage) like the rest of us (we've all got bills) and pay the price when you walk through their doors.

Pros

Everyone is highly valued from interns to senior management. Most decisions are made by committee with all angles being thoroughly vetted. Anyone can propose an idea and it will be treated as if it came from the CEO.

Cons

Because everyone's thoughts are valued, a singular veto from any stakeholder can prevent progress. Meetings are numerous to gain buy-in.
