Pros

Compensation Package is average to above average. People seem to care for one another. Work / life balance seems important to management.

Cons

Pay does not seem in line with main competitors. Operating system is antiquated and inefficient. Internal audit appears to have taken control of how individual departments operate.

Pros

Adequate compensation, performance driven bonuses based on numbers, good training, competant management, very good senior management. Expectations and job descriptions very clear.

Cons

Work life balance, favoritism in deciding who advances and receives perks. No company is perfect but Selective is much better than most in the insurance industry.
