- Flexibility - Work-life balance - Processes and overall organization - Nice people

Cons

- Russian language still existing in some docs and pieces of code is a challenge - Sometimes hard to communicate with Russian speakers that might struggle still with English (but everyone shows they are truly trying to improve) - Team names are a bit unusual and confusing (would prefer descriptive names or names with some hint/connection to what the team does)

Semrush is a highly dysfunctional company - management doesn’t have a clear strategy, they are growing haphazardly through seemingly random acquisitions without an idea of resource needs or financial impacts. The company needs an experienced public-company CEO, and especially an experienced public-company CFO - the current CFO is inexperienced and this is not a role for learning on the job. The company has potential but it is time to hire experienced leaders, or it will continue to spin its wheels and lose employees. The company still has consultants in Russia.

Cons

Compensation is not commensurate with the demands, the C-Suite is in above its head.
