Pros

Very flexible with shift times and locations (both are based off of your own preference and availability) Opportunities for OT or just picking up extra shifts in general was constant Management seemed to stay on top of answering calls and openly communicating about whatever issue you had

Cons

Lack of training Purposely withheld information about certain problematic clients in order to ensure that the shifts would covered Mildly overbearing with calls/texts about picking up last minute shifts Management wasn’t great about giving reassurance/solutions when it came down to expressing feelings of discomfort with certain clients. Seemed like they kinda expected you to just deal with whatever was going on until your shift ended. (I could see why some people would walk out on their clients mid-shift)

Pros

There is no shortage of hours They have a good answering service

Cons

They will schedule you over your preferred hours and if you don’t have any, they will schedule you 50+ hours a week They do not pay $27.50. They only pay a max of $19 and that’s if you’re lead caregiver which means you need to be a CNA or caregiver who has been with them for a while They send untrained home health aides to clients who need CNA skills which is extremely unsafe for both the caregiver and the client They expect lead caregivers to train new caregivers with clients they’ve never had before They have knowledge of caregivers doing things out of the scope of practice, and turn a blind eye They do not tell you when a client has been in contact with a Covid positive(they ended up being positive) They do not respect your time off that You’ve asked before to have off you need to constantly check to make sure they didn’t sneak in extra days I personally was threatened with a demotion due to medical issues ( that I told them about when I got hired)

Pros

NONE! NADA! Would never work there again.

Cons

No respect for employees. Schedulers are very disrespectful to employees. Worked per diem on theweekends. Constant phone calls, txt, and emails, changing patients, given the wrong care plans, given the wrong code to punch in. Apatient complained about getting different aides all the time. I quit a year ago and have asked to be taken off all listsand I still receive emails and txt. I blocked them and they still come through. Never enough help. I quit after a month.
