Pros
The management at the time I worked was willing to give me a chance as a newbie with no real experience in admin.
Cons
Management did everything in their power to cut corners and pinch pennies. The facility where I worked was horrendously under staffed. Two med-techs and two attendants for more than 80-90 people. Two aids for 10-15 dementia patients. I overheard a manager telling inspectors this was good enough. HOW? Residents got their pills late, wrong, waited hours to be changed... It was madness. Upper management just didn't care! They strolled in to their offices whenever and left whenever, acted completely unprofessional, and most of them didn't care about residents or staff beyond how much money we could make them. They had no idea how to handle HR situations except for firing people or ignoring the situation... They would even go so far as outing employees who made complaints against other employees. To speak to anyone in Human Resources, you have to call some clown out of state and all they do is make you feel like you are in the wrong. Overall, just a disgraceful company. It's bad enough that people choose to make a profit off of the ageing and dying process, but the way they exploit seniors and hard working staff to squeeze out every last penny is plain immoral. I'm surprised their haven't been sued out of business.
