Pros

Friendly residents and bougie living facility

Cons

On my first day, I didn’t feel very welcomed as a new employee. When I arrived, the focus seemed to be more on prospective clients touring the facility rather than onboarding me as a new team member. My workspace was not prepared — the office was crowded with boxes and supplies, and I had to set up my own computer and equipment before I could begin work. I also experienced some miscommunication during orientation around required health screenings. What I was initially told by corporate HR was later presented differently in a follow-up conversation with leadership, which created unnecessary tension so early in my employment. Within only two days of being there, I was surprised to hear feedback that people had concerns about my “attitude,” despite the limited time I had to even interact with others. Overall, my impression was that the culture prioritized appearances and revenue over supporting staff. The onboarding process felt outdated and not employee-focused, and early miscommunications made it difficult to feel supported in the role.

Pros

Good hours for a high school student (after school from 3-7) Over time pay (most of the time you won’t be getting more than 40 hours) The residents are super sweet The pay is good Time and a half for holidays

Cons

The management sucked! When I first started working there it was great until they got new management. The kitchen was infested with mold and rats they fed moldy food to the residents. The food was known to make people sick sometimes so if you do work there don’t eat it. The management would make people do things that they could have just done themselves while they sit back and watch. They would hire people that were convicted felons and were always understaffed. The kitchen was nasty and turnover was high
