There are a lot of good people who work at Sensata and Sensata is a large company with a lot of advancement possibilities

Cons

I can only speak about the HVOR (Heavy vehicle Off Road) Sales Department but the management in place creates a hostile and toxic environment. They provide little to no direction and when there is a direction, it is vague and likely will change. Communication is dictated, short, confrontational, and critical rather than collaborative. Any and all your ideas will be wrong and managements ideas are always correct. No learning takes place and is very frustrating. In addition, the account manager position can not make any decisions. Everything needs to be reported to management on any RFQ or issue. This leads to an unfulfilling position in which the account manager is just a reporter to management. Also leads to frustration as getting information to your customer is slow. In conclusion, I would not recommend working for this company in the HVOR sales group.
