Pros

Work hour flexibility. Some really cool products

Cons

Higher management loves kicking problems down the road and laying people off instead of focusing on actually delivering working products to sustain us in the future. Its clear the company is now run by accountants instead of engineers. Its impossible to get the resources needed on a program to be successful. Most of the newer EV projects are set up for years of failure. Having 4-5 voluntary or forced layoff cycles in 5 years is a real bad look as the headquarters site in Attleboro site dwindles away to nothing. Some would say it looks like they are trying to phase the site out entirely. Which based on the track record of shutting down other companies and sites would not be a big surprise. The amount of knowledge we have lost by cutting staff over the last few years has been pretty astounding. Summary: Short term profits are more important than sustained well being.

Women....run.

Pros

I'm struggling to think of pros. There are some great employees still struggling through the day.

Cons

As a man, I have less trouble than my female coworkers. However, some issues I've seen: They're regularly ignored and belittled. They're incredibly underpaid compared to the men. They're not taken seriously for upward momentum. Their technical expertise is treated as laughable. They get an ERG group to placate them while actual problems including medical issues are outright dismissed by their male management. There's not even somewhere to pump for women in the operation center. And that's not even mentioning the yearly layoffs that unfairly target the elderly, women, and POC.

Pros

They have donuts on Fridays, and pizza parties to try and make up for the crap work environment

Cons

There is not much room for growth unless you are part of the inside clique of engineers. The problems they work on aren't all that difficult, and the engineers act like they are way cooler than they really are. If you have any problems better keep your mouth shut or HR will get rid of you. They never seem to build their products right and send all manufacturing to mexico or china so there are always problems and not enough resources to fix them..

While we appreciate your feedback, we are disappointed to hear of your previous experience. Opportunity for growth for our employees is important to us as we strive to help our team succeed in their career goals. We recommend anyone experiencing this same lack of opportunity to speak with their manager and work on their development plan together to set manageable goals working toward career growth. - Alison Hopkins, Senior Director, HR
