Pros

Great place to work with excellent management and realistic targets. Product is advancing nicely and overall team has been great to work with!

Cons

Company is spread throughout the whole US so team events are few and far between. This may not be a con for some employees.

Pros

Great people, great product and great time to be at Sentinelone

Cons

Change for the worst. The introduction of new senior leadership has shifted the company's culture to a very political environment and layered company. Previously revered as an iconic known brand, it's now perceived as generic. The company appears to be grappling with an identity crisis thanks to the new CMO! Despite intending to scale, the new management has replaced key roles with individuals of uncertain quality and questionable actions. It’s a joke now

Thank you for your feedback and appreciation of our people and product. Change is never easy, and our needs continue to evolve as we grow. The leadership that guided us through our start-up phase differs from what we need now. We take pride in retaining many early leaders while welcoming new talent as we scale. If you’d like to offer actionable feedback on your experience working at SentinelOne, please reach out to peoplesupport@sentinelone.com.

Pros

Very Competitive Pay Great Health Insurance Hot space in Cyber Security

Cons

Pretty much everything else The micromanagement era has begun at SentinelOne with sales leadership now creating multiple bottlenecks of busy work that make it very difficult to close business in a timely fashion. Promotions are seemingly decided by 2 Senior Members of sales leadership flipping a coin in the back room. Tenured members of the salesforce who built the company often aren’t even given the opportunity to interview for management roles. The new product sales are virtually non existent as Engineering and Sales Leaders have spent the last year talking up products that lack functionality versus trying to figure out why they are having trouble selling. Worst of all almost all key members of the team that made the company great/took it IPO have left from the President, COO, CRO, to Head of Product and many others within the last 18 months. When in conversations with SentinelOne recruiters about potential job opportunities don't walk in the other direction........RUN!

Thank you for your feedback. At SentinelOne, we're committed to fostering a collaborative environment that provides growth opportunities. We are thankful to our early stage leaders for their contributions that helped us scale. As we continue our evolution as a public company, our leadership and aligned talent processes are also evolving to the meet our hypergrowth needs for the future. We continue to have high rates of employee and leader retention and are promoting an increasingly high percentage of talent from within - a key contributor to our retention metrics. However we are not perfect, and addressing all feedback will enable us to continue to strengthen our leadership. If you have anything else to share, please contact us at peoplesupport@sentinelone.com.
