Worst corporate culture experience by far

Pros

Great benefits, lunch. There are some good people there, outside of upper management.

Cons

It's a junior-league C-suite, and it shows. Expectations are completely unrealistic in terms of strategy and execution, budgets are largely a wild guess, and it's just become a game of whom can blame whom. Loyalty isn't a concept that is understood at SentinelOne, nor is having a healthy corporate culture. People look defeated before they even walk through the door. The CEO doesn't engage with anyone. There is no pep-talks, no guidance, no information on performance...nothing. Just sits in his office when he comes in at 11am, and leaves at 3pm. Not quite the leader I was expecting. They hire you to be a pro in your area of expertise, but then question EVERY move, with no experience themselves to back it up...Have to dumb down a lot of things since although many profess to be experts, reality is quite different. I suggest anyone considering working here, have a real conversation with an ex employee. Reach out to one on LI, I'm sure they'd love to give you their perspective.

Horrible top management

Pros

Great product idea, talented people (usually, for as long as they stick around).

Cons

Horrible (top) management, especially the CEO. He might actually run a good company into the ground if they don't whip him into shape or just fire him. A clear case of techy with bright idea but no management skills whatsoever demanding a CEO job. Micromanaging his management team which often results in scared management that then also starts to micromanage even though they have talented people working for them that know their job very well. They have such a high turn over rate; management gets rid of people on a whim just because they are pissed about the result of their own stupid actions.
