Pros

Sephora makes sure to give all employees the newest products with a program called "gratis." This allows employees to try everything and be able to speak to the products when selling on the floor. Sephora also has a fine-tuned company language and culture that allows for consistency per franchise. Customers are "clients" and help is always "assist."

Cons

In retail, there wasn't a lot of mentorship programs for employees who wanted to work their way up.
