Pros

Some of the clients are very nice, and make the job worth a while. Gratis is also something to look forward to, as well as the emphasis on the product trainings.

Cons

Cast members too often feel entitled to something. Very clique-y, high schoolish characters. Management tend to micromanage, and make decisions based off personal feelings. Borderline toxic environment.

Public Transit- Powell Street Bart Station exit. Pretty sad- can't think of one PRO..

Cons

CEO- needs to have meeting with these Cliquey Micro-so called managers!. They treat and dehumanize New Cashiers, and New Color Consultants.. No Mentoring..the majority of the staff have No professional etiquette when it comes to ..welcoming new staff+ it's like WE are the enemy. If you are that person- who likes being treated like a insect and being surrounded by High School Mentality--this job is for you!. I would rather enlist in the Army Boot Camp for a month than put my SOUL to Sephora @ The Powell location in San Francisco. With that said, I do hope the CEO addresses that Big issue at that store..so sad these leaders are Out for themselves and had forgotten how to treat each employee AS ...You want to be treated!. Amen to that!. These makeup artists look pretty with makeup; however it's the Soul of those individuals that represent 100% Ugliness. Looks fade away ladies and gents...Superficial folks :(

Great education, we are thoroughly trained before even being allowed on the floor. Gratis- We are spoiled

Cons

Discount only 20% on brands & 40% on Sephora Collection It can be hard to have growth depending on your leadership team The pay scale is not even across the board, you may do more but you can be paid less than another... Definitely push for $12+ when you apply
