Pros

None that I can mention!

Cons

Working at servermonkey has been an incredibly frustrating and disheartening experience. From the top down, this company is a breeding ground for unprofessionalism, favoritism, and lack of true leadership. One of the most glaring issues at servermonkey is the hiring of directors who seem to prioritize personal friendships over professionalism or competency. The directors, especially in sales, operate more like a clique than a team, and their leadership style is more about self-preservation than empowering others. Instead of supporting their teams and focusing on business growth, these directors are far more interested in making sure they remain in the CEO’s good graces, Even at the expense of the employees under their command. The Director, for instance, constantly belittles the salespeople, offering little to no constructive feedback. The CEO, unfortunately, mirrors the same self-centered mindset. It’s abundantly clear that their main concern is their own salary and personal advancement. There’s little to no awareness of the struggles faced by employees, who are often working paycheck to paycheck, hoping for a raise or better benefits that never materialize. The disconnect between the executive leadership and the rest of the company is striking. While the CEO thrives, the employees are left behind, dealing with a lack of resources, poor communication, and unrealistic expectations.

The team is collaborative and supportive, and there's a real sense of camaraderie. It's a place where you actually look forward to coming to work (and that's saying something!). Pros

Interacting with talented colleagues A positive team atmosphere Good health benefits

Cons

As a committed employee, I must address significant concerns about our workplace environment. Nepotism and favoritism are prevalent, leaving many feeling undervalued and demoralized. Certain individuals receive preferential treatment, including remote work privileges, while others are overlooked and forced to come back to the office. Nepotism runs rampant, casting a shadow over any semblance of meritocracy or fair opportunity. Employee compensation remains below industry standards despite promises of raises, while lavish spending on multiple new vehicles raises questions about priorities. Moreover, the CEO's frequent absence from the office raises doubts about their commitment to the company's vision and success, fostering a climate of uncertainty among employees. Rather than cultivating a sense of unity, his rhetoric often serves to sow division, as evidenced by disparaging remarks directed towards the parent company and the propagation of a culture characterized by gossip and negativity. We deserve a leader who leads by example, demonstrating genuine care and appreciation for the entire workforce rather than showing favoritism towards a select few. It is my hope that this review serves as a catalyst for positive change within our organization, fostering a culture of respect, transparency, and inclusivity.
