Pros

No pros, worst company since bought by BrookField Asset Management

Cons

Terrible Management What used to be a nice culture has turned into no culture with lots of outsourcing to India for all things accounting Grossly underpaid compare to same job description at other companies What used to be tolerable micromanagement is now unbearable Moral of the company is at an all time low Since the company sold its soul to the devil, cutting costs means forcing people to quit so the position can be outsourced for 60% less pay. I would not recommend working for this company unless you want to be beaten down and feel like you are working for a sweatshop with mandatory overtime, six day workweeks and 10 hour workdays expected from you.

Pros

In sales leads are everything. Service Experts provides an endless supply daily. Service Experts provides you with a new vehicle, phone, and pays all the fuel and maintenance. Granted all the leads are not golden. But they are an opportunity. If you've ever bought leads before then you understand how important a lead is.... especially a lead that is a buyer for what you sell. Service Experts gives you a full arsenal of quality products to offer. Everyone can be purchased with no money down and currently deferred payment for 60 days. Absolutely incredible when you encounter many that don't have a cash reserve and air conditioning is dead. The insurance is incredible, affordable with a low deductible with many features from selecting your Dr, or visiting a Dr online. Ultra convenient. There is a matching 401k and after 5 years of email you are 100% vested and all the matched money is yours. There is paid vacation, PTO, they buy your Polo shirts for a presentable professional appearance and last but not least you only have a meeting 1 day a week at the office. Other than that you work starting from home. Management including your direct manager is always available. This is a cyclible industry and I only mean there is a season, a long season of feasting. And 4 or so months to catch up on vacation or projects at home. If you put back your monies it's not a problem getting through the lean weeks. Lean weeks for me I still took home better than a grand a week. Commission's are paid quickly and there has never been a problem. Oh I almost forgot they pay for a $50k life insurance policy for you AND buy long term disability for you as well.

Cons

The only con will only be yourself and your work ethic. When the money is rolling in then you plan your life around long days up to bat. If you have a bad attitude about the industry, well I'll be more than happy to work your leads.

Pros

Great training. Potentially great company. Some decent employees.

Cons

Leadership is poor on the local level. Getting questions answered is difficult., I read negative reviews of the company beforehand. I gave the company a fair shake any way and started. My discernment was off. The decent sales opportunities are cherry-picked to the favorites in house, but If you're a person of color thinking about Sales, this wouldn't be a wise move unless you desire to be blamed for everything except the sins of Adam and Eve. This company could be great, but the environment isn't great and company culture needs a ton of improvement. The opportunity is oversold also. Long hours and pressure are what this is about. Negativity and threats abound. Pass this one up. Your mental wellbeing will thank you for it later.
