Pros

Co-workers are great. Very informal and laid back environment. Office staff are like family, field staff are laid back as well. Inside the office, we tolerate each other like family. We tick each other off one moment, but in the next we're back joking around with each other. Most times it's a very enjoyable environment to work in.

Cons

There's very little diversity as you go further up within the company. Very poorly managed from the top down. Initially it comes across as being very people and customer oriented, but you soon learn that it's all about the number. Customers have to wait 24-48 hours to speak to a manager, and sometimes that time is extended. They're not really concerned about the skillset of their office employees. They just want bodies. An individual can have amazing verifiable experience in an administrative area, and be hired for this purpose by Talent Acquisition, but in the end, at the local level, management will put this person on phone duty, operating as a CSR. They just want bodies to answer the phones. Most staff have primary administrative duties which have critical deadlines, but are also expected to operate in a CSR capacity. Training is a joke. There are no designated trainers, or designated time for a staff member to train a new office employee without interruptions. The new employee more than likely will just be shadowing while the seasoned staff member is chugging along a their normal pace to get their work done and meet deadlines. There's not much time or space allowed for slowing down and asking questions. It's really a "trial by fire", "throw em to the wolves", "sink or swim" type of training environment. Proper training typically isn't given until noticeable mistakes that affect revenue are made. Reactive, not proactive training. Management is driven/pushed by Corporate micro management and "Numbers Guys" in upper management, so the "suck" here is not entirely lower level management's fault. Speaking your mind is often frowned upon, and when issues about management are brought up in direct communication w/ management there's a strong chance that you'll be gaslit. Sales and Service Coordinators take the blame for virtually everything that goes wrong, even when they're not directly involved in the situation. The attitude is much like, "Well, you all should've caught it before it happend".

Pros

In sales leads are everything. Service Experts provides an endless supply daily. Service Experts provides you with a new vehicle, phone, and pays all the fuel and maintenance. Granted all the leads are not golden. But they are an opportunity. If you've ever bought leads before then you understand how important a lead is.... especially a lead that is a buyer for what you sell. Service Experts gives you a full arsenal of quality products to offer. Everyone can be purchased with no money down and currently deferred payment for 60 days. Absolutely incredible when you encounter many that don't have a cash reserve and air conditioning is dead. The insurance is incredible, affordable with a low deductible with many features from selecting your Dr, or visiting a Dr online. Ultra convenient. There is a matching 401k and after 5 years of email you are 100% vested and all the matched money is yours. There is paid vacation, PTO, they buy your Polo shirts for a presentable professional appearance and last but not least you only have a meeting 1 day a week at the office. Other than that you work starting from home. Management including your direct manager is always available. This is a cyclible industry and I only mean there is a season, a long season of feasting. And 4 or so months to catch up on vacation or projects at home. If you put back your monies it's not a problem getting through the lean weeks. Lean weeks for me I still took home better than a grand a week. Commission's are paid quickly and there has never been a problem. Oh I almost forgot they pay for a $50k life insurance policy for you AND buy long term disability for you as well.

Cons

The only con will only be yourself and your work ethic. When the money is rolling in then you plan your life around long days up to bat. If you have a bad attitude about the industry, well I'll be more than happy to work your leads.

Pros

Promotions are common, but mainly because turnover is extremely high.

Cons

Turnover is above 100% in some parts of the business. RIFs are frequent, and workloads are tripled for those who remain. Very stressful environment with constant pressure and little support. Concerns with professionalism inside HR that multiple employees made comments but no action was taken. Keep in mind, some of the “positive” reviews appear to come from employees requested to leave feedback and are not authentic. Workplace politics dominate, senior leaders promote favorites over higher-performing, more qualified employees. Inappropriate behavior among high-level leadership was widely known but ignored. There were repeated comments about race and gender from senior leadership that were inappropriate during hiring discussions. The CEO is largely absent and provides little to no communication. Big decisions are often made with little logic or explanation. The sales process is deeply flawed and costs the company a SIGNIFICANT amount of money. General Managers have essentially no control over their centers and function more like puppets. This is an extremely toxic workplace, and I strongly do not recommend working here. Leadership often claims in the hiring process, “we just haven’t had the right person in this role before, but you could be the one to make a change.” The reality is that too many ineffective and harmful leaders remain in positions of power, making critical decisions. The environment will drain you, emotionally and personally. You will sacrifice family time you can never get back, and most will regret working here. My honest advice, avoid this company.

Pros

-Company car and cell phone are nice to have -Training pay lasts 12 weeks and is a good safety net as you are learning. -Recognition, room to grow, and a good work life balance seems to be fairly attainable.

Cons

-Completely disconnected from employees, poor business practice and favoritism is left in place for what seems like decades, new employees with excellent ideas on how to help things run smoothly are completely ignored, and to throw salt in the wound they are confusingly encouraged to bring these ideas forward just to be ignored? -Seems pretty seasonal, you will go entire days with 1 or 0 calls and they will tell you to call dispatch and ask for them only to be ignored by dispatch. I have personally gone 5 straight hours in the field sitting in a parking lot without a call, reaching dispatch every hour on the hour. -“Proving Ground” environment, you will be told that until you prove yourself you will often be forgot about and calls go to more familiar people. The trouble here is it gets tough to prove yourself while being ignored and not getting shots in the game. -No team atmosphere and very poor leadership, i went most of my first 3 months without even having a sales manager.

Pros

The company is very diverse and is willing to give every person an opportunity to work there, no matter their ethnicity or beliefs.

Cons

They overwork their employees in payroll. A lot of brown-nosing. The manager and team lead throw their work on others and don't help when asked.
