Pros

Wish I could something here but the degredation of this company over the years has been abhorrent.

Cons

Currently running 6 calls a day, company doesn't really know or care that a tune up or service call may require additional time. No work/home balance, company doesn't care if you want more daily family time, apparently dinner by 6 each night is not reasonable. Routing is terrible. Often find I'm spending almost as much time driving as I do on a site doing actual work. Techs have been dropping like flies and has not done anything to get more experienced guys, everyone new is green and incapable of running service calls. Communication is lacking, customers often call back wondering when we will provide quote or return to repair their unit only for office to be rude or confused and then follow up to ask what happened at that job. CHECK YOUR MESSAGES PEOPLE! Office all point fingers and no one wants to be accountable to their own mistakes. Techs are constantly given criticism yet office can be completely disorganized and misinform customers of how we do business but no one corrects them. Everything is difficult. Tool reimbursement, hands on training with a more experienced tech, meetings/training about service all lacking in accessibility. Corpo company out to make as much money as possible and giving nothing back to the boots on the ground making the money for them. Go here if you want 3% raises each year because apparently your direct management has no control, corporate makes all those decisions and they haven't even met you. Could probably add more but I'm just doing this review to look at other company reviews because I need a new job.

Pros

For the first year, you at least get a minimum per week, so that's nice. You also get a company car and gas card.

Cons

There's a lot. First, you are a leasing sales person, not a HVAC salesperson. Sure, HVAC is one component of what you are trying to lease, but at the end of the day they want you to push their Advantage program which costs the customer double the price of the unit. I had to get with another co-worker on how to do a lot of things that are not covered in training such as how to get things entered into their commission system (kind of important if you want to make above your minimum draw), how to calculate and do building performance jobs (like duct work), how to submit for spifs (which is Lennox supported and is separate from Service Experts), etc. Lastly they are continually hiring because they know their turnover rate is high. Here's the problem with that, there isn't demand to cover that much staff. They only x amount of technicians (which is where they primarily get their leads) and most of the time they will run you on maintenance calls where there is about a 4% chance that there is something wrong. Your job at that point is try and convince a customer that they need to ditch a 5 year, 3 year, etc, system and buy their Advantage program which, when it is all said and done, costs x2 the cost of the system. If you don't have a conscious or enjoy leasing sales, then this is for you. If not, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

Pros

good pay and decent benefits. That is all the good that comes from here unless you do well with high stress and toxic environment.

Cons

over worked staff, expect long days and late nights, The company has the worst management I have ever seen. I ask lots of questions in my interview and the company lied about issues like turnover rates. There is no training for new employees. There are massive issue with harrassment. The company promotes people only being by sleeping your way up. HR ignores issues because even there the same issues are present. Avoid working here if you value your mental health.

Pros

Nice having a company car and phone

Cons

The company lacks in a lot of sales technology. Communication with upper management isn’t the greatest. Lack of training. The position had potential. The local management/ office can ruin this potential, causing deals and sales to fall through.
