Pros

They pay on time. The people there do tend to try and keep it as a family company, where everyone is buddy-buddy. With the high turnover you get to meet a lot of new people!

Cons

The pay is crap for the area. The mismanagement is a big deal. The managment team is a good old boys club and they don't fire the bad management. Instead, assistants run the departments to make up for the crappy managers. Some of the crew members do drugs (even on the job) & are ineffecient leading to jobs not making much money and no bonuses (the only way to get paid with such a low salary). Seems the company is always in cost saving mode, probably due to the lack of leadership to make real changes. Huge nepotism problems with owners wives working in the company. Anytime you're sick or the roads are iced over, the company pushes to still make you come to work, there's no real balance. There is high turnover because high performers recognize there is better out there. They will definitely never make the best places to work list, but if you need a job, it beats unemployment.

HORRIBLE

Pros

Worked at my own pace to get tasks done. But that is also a con.

Cons

I mentioned that working at my pace was a con, because I was expected to work with extremely lazy people who I was supposed to split tasks with, but I ended up doing 80% of the work because I'm not a lazy person. There was terribly unsanitary practices for a food production plant that would be reinforced by the owner. When I brought these to his attention he called me a liar and cut my hours.

Pros

Opportunity to make really great money. Management is very professional and willing to teach and work with you. Willing to train the right people for employment.

Cons

Must be willing to work on call on a rotating basis. Jobs can come in at any time of the day or night.
