Pros

Great focus on getting the business right and being profitable. Supervisor was great but under staffed, which contributed to a stressful environmenr

Cons

Company is downsizing in waves. It doesn't feel like there is any planning behind staffing levels or needs. Culture has changed completely from being employee focused to primarily cost-cutting

Pros

paid weekly; full-time hours; good training I loved this job because of the weekly pay and the 12.00 hr. Otherwise, there was little to like. It just wasn't the job for me.

Cons

rigid scheduling; stressful work; too many tasks for the job; too much pressure from supervisors to meet goals without consideration for the complexity of the work - dealing with angy customers who were tired of the Service Master way of doing business.

Pros

I loved my boss at ServiceMaster. I also was given the opportunity to create designs that were used, so I felt like I was really contributing to the team. It was an exciting time to be at ServiceMaster because we were in charge of updating the traditional designs of the company. It offered great pay for an internship. I also got college credit for this internship. The group that worked there was also very friendly and fun to work with.

Cons

It was located in the suburbs, which wasn't convenient. It was also a very cooperate environment, although we were allowed to wear jeans twice a week. The design department was understaffed, which made our jobs more stressful.
