Pros

ServiceNet offers an outstanding benefits - health insurance and PTO package. It's a great place to get good experience as a new social worker in the field. There are many opportunities to move up, try out different roles, and apply skills and learn new ones. Great opportunity to work on teams.

Cons

Low pay at outpatient clinics, but this is not different from other outpatient mental health clinics. Outreach programs are paperwork-heavy and lose sight of progressive ways of helping people. However, this problem is tied to contracts that require this paperwork and structure, so not necessarily the fault of those running ServiceNet programs. However, could be more progressive and helpful overall. New ideas and fresh perspectives are needed in leadership.
