Pros

Usually really good and dedicated employees ( if they are not related) .They want to do a good job. Your customers that you call on day in and day out are great to meet and very friendly

Cons

Lack of advancement within franchise. Competing with neighboring franchises for same peice of work which is ludicrous.

Working for independent owner of franchise puts you in position of being tied to this persons personal character more than the brand's reputation.
