Pros

- Flexibility - Decent benefits (some elementary stuff like Dental coverage is horrible though) - You can usually still get stuff done - Company events are a nice touch (bi-weekly lunches, free ice cream in the summer, etc) - Lots of perks for developer, fancy desks, lounges, etc - Promotions from within, but could be better, company needs to better recognize top performers

Cons

- Feels more like big company now - Loss of transparency (Senior Management used to be VERY approachable prior to the Series B investment, now it's like a secret society) - New owners (Lots of uncertainty about the direction of the company, many things are "happening", but nothing gets communicated, or gets communicated long after the fact) - New CEO slowly replacing existing management and bringing on his own crew - HR up until recently non-existent, hope this changes now. When people are let go or leave on their own for whatever reason, please communicate that to the entire company. - Some incompetency in various departments, no peer review process, only minimal top down - Too many cooks in the kitchen / too many Chiefs and no Indians at times

Pros

Decent paycheck Medical and Dental Paid time off

Cons

1. Employees in general are not happy unless you are a part of the "in crowd" 2. Lacks diversity. And this is coming from a non minority. 3. SVP Sales has a bad reputation in as having no morals. There are several sales guys that won't work for him. 4. Head of Marketing position has been a revolving door. The new guy is part of the "in crowd" with no marketing experience. The sales team does not respect him. 5. Recruiting team sent a mass email encouraging employees to leave a positive review. Look at the dates! Most are within a one week time span. 6. Needs to improve human resources. 7. Former CEO resigned. Great man.

Ouch, this one stings a bit but I must admit that I am surprised you feel this way given the company morale, drive, passion and culture. I won't address each con in a battle, but I do strongly disagree with several points you make. We have a strong executive core that helps to drive our company forward. They truly care about the employees and our customers and I feel that is well reflected around the office and throughout our customer base. Change is inevitable for a company that is growing at such an unprecedented pace as we are and sometimes it can feel uncomfortable. I welcome the opportunity to speak with you to better understand why our perspectives are so different.

Pros

- Friendly, casual work environment - Fast pace - you'll never let you be bored - Career growth and learning opportunities are abundant - Collaborative team environment - Little random events and perks throughout the week that make you know you're appreciated

Cons

Salaries don't quite measure up to neighboring Philadelphia. There are some other benefits that make up some of the difference. If you look at just the check, you may be a little disappointed.
