Exceptional Staff, Exciting Technology
Pros
A very exciting tech stack - Golang, React + Typescript, Python, Docker, Kubernetes on AWS. The ability to work on projects that you find interesting. Hands-on dev-ops with very quick release cycles - no working on a project and throwing it over the wall to QA, or to Ops to deploy - as an engineer here, you are responsible for every step of the product life cycle from planning, coding, testing, deploying and observing. Amazing growth potential. Really solid leadership. Though there is a lot of work to do and generally an expectation of 9-10 hours of work a day, leadership is thoughtful and flexible to help employees meet family commitments. Catered lunch every Friday, unlimited bubbly water from the Bevi, great and well stocked snack station curated by snack nation, quarterly company events (that are actually fun), great open and bright office (with swings!)
Cons
As an early/mid-stage startup, the hours can sometimes be long - there is a lot of work to do! If you are coming from an enterprise background, the lack of dedicated software analysts and QA might surprise you. Not really a con - I think it is a better development experience having full control of the product life cycle rather than being given a flow chart to implement.
