Pros

Easy to get Work is simple Pay is decent and fairly stable Friendly staff and management Free fountain drinks and Sheetz food products are half off while on the clock Management is understanding to personal needs

Cons

New staff is constantly coming in and out causing mass confusion, unprofessionalism, and screwing things up that should be well known by all employees You have to work every holiday or find someone willing to take your hours To many managers and supervisors which can be very confusing The mix of older staff and younger kids can cause friction and disdain Management is about as professional as the staff is

Pros

The morning hours kept you busy, which makes time fly by. The pay was adequate for the work required. They offer perks to college students working full time. The management is typically friendly, as are the other workers there. The training makes you feel ready to work as soon as you are done.

Cons

As a coffee hostess, I only was scheduled about 3-4 hours per weekday. It is an older store, so things tend to break at the worst possible moment.

Pros

Sheetz offers great pay and benefits for the job description. Sales associates start at $8.75, which is a lot considering it's practically fast food. Sheetz knows this, and is the only major company I've ever seen advertise the starting wage for new associates in stores and online. Management is very likable and easy to get along with. Benefits for full-time employees come in only 3 months. Advancement comes quickly for those with experience and education (I begin training for hourly manager in a few weeks and I started less than 2 months ago). Generally a polite and well-mannered customer base that it's not bad at all to serve.

Cons

The job itself isn't much fun (especially preparing food), but it's a job nonetheless. The people you work with make it fun, though. Full-time only equates to 32 hours a week many times. Under-staffed at night at my location. No paid time off for one year after hiring.
