Pros
I have never seen an organization focus so much on the growth, satisfaction, and engagement of its employees as I have seen at Shields. Direct managers and senior leadership are constantly monitoring the goals, expectations and ambitions of their teams, which is reflected in career advancement opportunities and day-to-day management. The organization is very flat, and entrepreneurship is encouraged and expected. The work is engaging, difficult, and ever-changing. Shields is truly a great place to work.
Cons
As with any fast growing company, there is an element of "building the plane while we're flying it." This means that there are aspects of the job that are a bit disorganized, and everyone wears many hats.
