It has been my first year at Shields and the company has set an good example for the Future of Specialty pharmacy. They hold their values and ethics and care to help the Patient and their needs over profit. The prestige this company has taught me to be more detailed oriented and precise regarding all detail of the patient, it shows how much the Pharmacy cares about quality. I enjoy working with a all types of members from Nurses, to Doctors, to Pharmacists, to Inventory specialists, and Insurance specialties. It's such a holistic aspect and I'm so glad we all work very well as a team. The team is caring and always willing to help and improve everyday. My favorite part is interacting with my patients from a day to day bases, I am responsibility for 100-250 patients and I enjoy speaking to each one of them. I love hearing their stories, where they come from, their passions, as well as their growing pains. It makes it feel like less of a job and more into a passion. They also care for you not only as an employee but as person of your dreams and aspirations. Another aspect that is important, Shields is a place where you can grow and advance your career and I definitely plan to advance and I'm glad that there are countless opportunities here.
