They need to watch the facilities that screw their nurses over. We understand how the facilities work. Atlanta is a huge area. I've literally watched staffing coordinators book multiple companies then cancel Shiftkey employees because they have to pay them "too much". They do this intentionally. Sometimes when all the staff show up noone wants to leave and it becomes a problem. I was cancelled for a shift . An hour later staffing called me personally begging me to come in. I'd already signed up to work another place so he made me a DNR after he cancelled me. The facilities play games like that. Sometimes they have favorites and will call them to let them know they're about to post shifts ...They offer premium pay just so they can get it .If someone else beats them signing up for it they'll decline it saying it was 'unavailable 'then repost it for that particular person. They also can do better with the ratings. I literally showed for every shift and on time yet my rate never moved from 86%. You dont really get shifts when its that low! I eventually stopped booking with them ! overall the company is good. They just need to do more to protect the nursing staff from the abuse of the facilities!
