Pros

This company works well if you’re a UXD who likes working as an embedded member of a product trio. One thing you’ll either love or hate about this company is that if you’re not working out, they will let you go, and it will feel sudden. They expect a LOT from Product Managers. Personally this is a good thing, because it means I can do my job as a UXD more efficiently. I love the teammates I work with directly on my trio and have some of the healthiest working relationships with my PM/Engineer I’ve had in my career to date. My manager has always been supportive of my time off requests.

Cons

No stock. The company offers “phantom units” which seem unlikely to deliver value to employees (only if company is sold over $X). Parental leave policy is low-end for the tech sector with only one month paid. Additional time can be taken as FMLA/disability. The UXD team is very nice but there is a lot of competition for few promotional opportunities which has lead to some tension on the team. 2024 was also a low year for raises even though the company has been quite profitable. In my opinion they rode the down market wave to maximize profitability for their investors to the detriment of their employees. Most of engineering is in Poland which makes for early meetings (8am CT). Something to consider if you live on the west coast.

Pros

They sent us a blanket as a gift

Cons

This is perhaps one of the worst companies I have ever worked. Turnover is extremely high leading to huge knowledge gaps on the SaaS side. Product Managers are inept at understanding priorities and we are often working on things that are not important to our customers. This company is such a sham. Yearly raises were delayed until May with no communication from management. Career development is a joke. Whether you are a seasoned professional or new to the workforce, run from this company.
