Pros

Free Medical Benefits; clean bath rooms, free parking; people are generally friendly; other than that, can't think of anything else.

Cons

Very low compensation, low department moral, revolving door; people come and leave just as quickly. Micro-Management. Poor products we are always getting complaints that our jewelry is poor quality. Lack of leadership, phones going down, crappy software, call center metrics are subjective rather than objective and are often arbitrary and capricious. Team leads are unprofessional and have no management training . Lack of leadership from the top. The company lies to their employees and to their customers. I am surprised this company is still in business.

Pros

None, and I'm being completely serious! I have never worked for a company that was this poorly managed/run. While not as bad as working in a sweat shot for 16 hours a day with no lunch and a AK-47 pressed against the back of your head its only honestly one step above that. There can be no pros to working here because the only things that are not horrible about working Liquidation Channel they provide only the barest of the minimum they need to by law, and even that is a rarity

Cons

1. The management is not only blatantly bias but abusive. I spent over a year and a half with that company and only had one supervisor who was an actual human being. The supervisors that followed were abusive, underhanded, lying, hypocritical vermin who rather than doing work spent their shift tormenting agents they didn't like. 2. Liquidation Channel will do anything for money that includes lying to their customers, employees, anyone that feel like. While working there I witnessed managers and coworkers recite misleading or completely false information about the products that we sold. When I tried explain to my supervisor that information we were using was incorrect and spent my own personal time to prepare up to date and correct documentation so that no one else had to do it she simply dropped it on her desk (completely ignoring it) and told me to focus on taking calls (in essence telling me to continue telling lies for eight hours a day even thought I knew I was lying to people) 3. Liquidation Channel will turn a blind eye to unethical and even illegal activity if they can profit from it. When I worked in the Personal Shopper Department we had a gentleman who would write down customers credit card information and then proceed to order the most expensive items we had. Only after spending the customers money would this agent call them and tell them he just bought a several thousand dollar item without consulting them first . 4. Liquidation Channel values its employees less than dirt. For the last several months that I worked at Liquidation Channel we had a MOD (Manager on Duty) who would verbally and emotionally harass and abuse out departments agents. I personally witnessed him scream at agent while on the call floor in front of other agents while we had active calls. The callers even complained about the noise. He was reported to Human Resource perhaps a dozen times in less than a month and didn't receive so much as a written warning, instead he increased the severity of his attacks and I had to make it my job to fight for our agents because Liquidation Channel would not protect its own employees against an abusive bigot.

Pros

There are not many but benefits are good. Other then that you pick and choose what you want. Either ridicule or insurance.

Cons

This company is very malicious. I really hate being here. I am looking for other jobs at this time. No one wants to stay here. The turn over rate is really high. Management is very unprofessional. One manager throws things across the call center floor...he is really loud and we can hardly hear the customers. I've been moved to many current seats so I have sat by supervisors and managers desk and you can here then gossiping about certain employees calling then names and calling then idiots. We had a really good supervisor but because of a former employee and some immature agents they fired him. Things have been a lot different since he left. There is no longer moral. There is no one who is taking time to help us. He really did good coaching us in a polite respectful manner unlike other supervisors. The morning manager is nice though. She seems friendly and laughs a lot but I hardly see her. Wage wise it is not the best but benefits are good. The way they score us on quality assurance is too much. We are border line scripted and we get yelled at by customers because they have to wait on the phone so long. This is because lack of employees and people keep quitting. The company needs to clear out and start fresh hiring people who have experience. The dress code here is so unprofessional. The other day a girl walked around in short shorts. Some guys wear baby pants showing off their bottoms I have even seem people come in with house slippers and pajamas. Also the merchandise we sell is costume jewelry. It's hard to tell the same customers 50 separate times that we are working on quality. It's not happening. Honestly I'm thinking of going back to in-store retail. This place is just ...yeah..
