Pros

I love working at Sidecar Health. We are building a product and company that is actually making a difference and changing healthcare. We use our own health insurance for ourselves and our families and it really makes you realize what we're onto and how impactful this product will be as we continue to grow. The team is incredible. Lots of smart, experienced, and passionate people. Everyone is supportive and there's a sense that it's all hands on deck all the time. Whenever there's an issue, everyone jumps in to solve it. And we have fun together as a team. There are lots of opportunities to grow and take on new projects and challenges. There HR team does a great job of making sure we're supported and have what we need to feel happy at work. The best parts: - strong, experienced, but accessible leadership - great world changing mission - free healthcare (for families too) - good salaries, bonus opportunities, and stock options for everyone - recharge days (3 day weekend each month) - great leave benefits

Cons

You can always find cons but honestly, on par, it's such a great company and great place to work. I think the biggest challenge is balancing our pace of growth with our ability to support that growth. We all want to go faster and hire more people, but leadership did a good job learning a tough lesson after a round of layoffs and are slowing growth. It's steady and stable but sometimes frustrating to not be able to hire more people and move faster into new markets.
