Toxic Culture of Fear

Pros

Employee population are great people to work with. Engaging, Intelligent and Helpful. The engineering is amazing.

Cons

Toxic culture created by CEO who does not live company values or care for you input and expertise. CEO demonstrates an inability to be honest. Lied about 9/80 and Hybrid schedules, remote work, reason for layoffs and a collaborative workplace. Decisions based on emotions leading to enterprise wide dysfunction and a senior leadership team afraid to do what is right by their employees. CRHO is not interested in collaboration, job performance, living company values or honesty. Inability to develop workforce plan or practice fair and equitable hiring. Can not be trusted in any capacity as a human resource professional.

Pros

Excellent health benefits, PTO, and 401k. Opportunity to work in the space industry. Opportunities for learning how not to run a company.

Cons

This is SNC's space systems group, spun off to its own company. Even before the spin off, this group was stretched thin with too many product lines. Upper management didn't take the time to reassess what made the most sense as a focus for the company and kept pushing forward with status quo. Now, the cost to produce certain items is so high that internal programs can't even affordably procure them. There is also an insatiable drive for external investment, to the point where it becomes the first, second, and third priority for management. Programs are stripped of resources but expected to return the same outputs. When you ask for resources, you're told to "get creative" but never given further guidance as to what's acceptable. Work life balance suffers because of this. Government regulations are an afterthought to any effort; only a matter of time until there's an audit.
