Work is so segmented between different organizations and locations that it bogs down the work pace and makes it impossible to accomplish even the simplest tasks. For a supposed "start up" they have no idea how to move quickly and innovate. Legacy process from SNC and dream chaser bog down new programs driving cost through the roof and schedule to the right. Some people seem buried in work and others are sitting around without much to do. Management is disengaged and doesn't listen to worker feedback. A centralized engineering realignment caused many people to report to managers that are at different work sites, who they have never met and who never check in with their direct reports, leaving individual contributors out on an island. Career advancement feels impossible with a disengaged manager. Dream chaser continues to suck down company resources leaving no money or manpower for other tasks.
