Pros

-Great product growth and product-market fit. The product is solving the right problems in the modern data analytic industry. User feedback is highly valued and powers innovation. A good example of a product-led growth company. - Transparent and collaborative environment is truly a core value. You are never alone in your projects. People are always ready to help, from peers to execs. Different types of crit and sharing sessions you can gather feedback from. - Diligent talents. Teammates are passionate about what they are doing, pushing the product to the next level. No time for bullshitting. all about being pragmatic. - Great diversity at the company.

Cons

Common growing pains of a fast-paced start-up. But improvements are happening every day as people who are open-minded and love this company are actively seeking solutions.

Thank you for your feedback - we love our product and teammates too! Our culture of collaboration and transparency is hugely important to us because we know that that is how we will continue to drive and accelerate our growth. It is true that we can improve - any company growing as fast as we are will always have room have improvement but we are privileged to have feedback from so many different channels that we help us address challenges as they arise. Thank you for continuing to help us improve and grow!

Thank you - we love the Hackathon too - it's the most fun week we have every quarter! We love seeing the product hacks that people come up with and love to see how many of them make it into the platform every quarter - the level of innovation and creativity is truly inspiring (and the karaoke is fun too!)

Autonomy in a Fast Paced Environment

Pros

-It's still a small startup so everyone knows each other and it's all hands on deck -Minimal red tape and lots of leeway to get things done -Supportive management and endless opportunities -Obligatory 'the people are the best part'......but it's actually true. Coming from a less than ideal former company with a lot of politics, Sigma feels like family.

Cons

It's still a small startup with a lot of irons in the fire going simultaneously. A lot of things are priorities and being able to communicate how you're investing your time on projects is up the individual. If you're looking for hand-holding and explicit tasks this may not be the environment you thrive in. But, if you're looking for a ton of autonomy with the reward owning your work and the outcomes, this is the place.

Thank you for your feedback! We completely agree that we are moving fast with a LOT going on so you are absolutely right that we are best suited to people looking for autonomy and room to learn and grow. Also - we couldn't agree more with your advice - our culture of collaboration across all functions is core to our growth right now so we are very focused in investing in ensuring that we maintain it. That's one the reasons that we are so keen to maintain an in-office presence - it's so much easier for our community to flourish when we are all together collaborating!
