Petty people you can't trust and very dirty environment if you are in finishing. You take metal, particles, chemicals, dust, and other debris from the product to the face as you grind away. You need to be close to see the issues with the parts so you will breath the nasty dirty air all day. The light on the desk will show you the particles in the air as a constant reminder as you sit hunched over the desk doing inspection on small parts with your die grinder.

Management does not care. The only upper level person that cares is the president. If you don't sleep with management you will not get anywhere. There is too many cliques there and if you don't fit in then you are an outcast and they will treat you bad. The stress level of expecting to be perfect is unreal. They have zero positive reinforcement but they have plenty of negative to say when you make a mistake. There is no communication between management and employee's. The work itself is great. Hours are fine. It's 12 hours on a 2-2-3 rotation. Pay is good. Advancement and personal growth is not. They make risky business choices that scare the employee's. They are always short staffed.
