Pros

Good people other than management.

Cons

Management tries to act like they do things for your benefit which they absolutely do not. Sure you'll get pizza parties but don't expect any raises let alone a meaningful raise, even took away our ability to sit down while working 10 to 12 hour shifts. Not to mention their joke of a payscale. Had this big meeting where we discussed how raises would be earned going forward, by levels 1, 2, and 3. Saw everyone bust their butt to just jump one level. Month later the floor boss hires some girl he used to date, she had never set foot in a machine shop in her life, got hired on at level 3 pay. While the rest of us that had been there for years weren't making that. Criminal. They basically got a guy in there that talks a great game about six sigma and lean manufacturing. He knows enough about it to really sell the concept, however the reality is that they just cut the work force as much as possible and have whoever is left pick up all the slack for no increase in pay. Therefor making his plan look great, if you're an idiot. The guy sold tires before this if that's any indication. Now he's making six figures all by lip service. Zero respect for employees and their families.

Pros

People. Some of the people there actually care about each other, and help each other grow. When I was there, it was like a family.

Cons

Upper Management was two faced and non transparent. The manipulation and forcefulness was unbearable. One day you would be a huge asset, the next, they would forget about your value and push you aside. The management needs to work as hard as the employees, for the employees. Not run a slave camp. Being forced into positions and being told- you have NO choice. Being told that "you need to not care" what people think or say. Caring is huge for me. This explains the reasoning why people are pushed aside, forgotten about, and not taken care of. If this place says there's 90 day "reviews" its a joke and don't count on it. The machine operators don't get enough credit for their hard work. The go to motto, was "we can make it work." This is not a precision company like it claims to be. The "OH NO" hurry rush scenario Is absolutely nuts. The operators had to scavenge for tools, material, and measuring instruments. The quality department guess and has zero clue of how thread gauges work, and reasonings behind tolerances. Basically. This place needs a huge make-over.

Pros

The gun industry is challenging and fun.

Cons

No incentive program, cyclical industry, very high turnover rate, leadership blames people rather than processes. Someone gets fired almost every week. Management is corrupt. Did not give severance package or pay out PTO. Spineless greedy cowards
