Pros

The benefits package was great - 100% employer-paid health/dental/vision. Generally nice work environment with intelligent, hard working people. Free coffee and beer/popcorn during the biweekly "Fireside Chat" where the leadership praise the sales team.

Cons

When I was brought on board as a developer (or "billable resource" as we came to be known) it seemed like the ideal job - great benefits, decent salary, friendly staff, and work that was interesting and challenging. I even moved my family 150 miles to relocate to Manchester because it seemed like such a great fit. There was talk of professional development opportunities like training and code reviews, but it was just that - talk. Sales will promise unrealistic timelines for delivery to get a client, and management will expect the deadline to be met, even if it means requiring the staff to work on holidays Thanksgiving and Christmas. The company culture, if you can call it that, is to run their production staff into the ground and replace them.

Pros

The culture is fantastic. The people that you work with are great. There has been A LOT done in the last ten months to improve the overall moral of the company. Benefits are very generous -- the company covers 100% of the costs. We work long hours, but management understands and appreciates the effort. If you want to build a career here, management is more than willing to work with you. We have a ton of work that comes through here on a daily basis with, mostly, very short time frames. The teams pull together really well to get everything accomplished, but it can get stressful. This is definitely more than a job or a career -- its a lifestyle. Management has been really careful over the last few hires to make sure that the new people have great personalities and will fit in well with the culture. If you want to make a difference here and be part of the company, management is more than willing to work with you (if they think you're the right fit) to help you reach your goal. The great news is that we are growing -- very fast -- and the positive work that both the management and staff have put in over the last year or so are finally starting to show the rewards. We just won three awards for great work and our clients are happy. The company is definitely on the tail-end of making really positive shifts.

Cons

Work/life balance could be better, but it is entirely reliant on the individual. If you want to work 60 hours a week, no one is going to stop you (management typically works more than that). But, if you need to be home with your family, management is really good about making sure that happens. Organization could also be better at times, but management has taken huge strides in addressing major issues created by individuals that are no longer here. Essentially, the "bleeding has stopped" and the items that come up now are details that every organization faces. Overall, I've been very pleased with the progress.

Pros

amazing team and the company is growing like crazy. Great team and based on comments below management must have changed

Cons

was some turnover in the past but it seems like that is what helped the company change the culture dramatically for the better.
