Pros

The schedule is consistent making it easy to schedule around. The pay is competitive for the region. Medical/Dental/Eyecare 401k 80 hours paid vacation after one year, 120 hours after four years, 160 hours after 8 years, and 200 hours after 12 years.

Cons

The time clock rules would not let you clock in more than seven minutes before shift start, and would count you as late (1/2 point) if you clock in one minute late. At least 30% of the workforce was made up of temporary employees, with little chance of permanent employment. Random drug screening.

Pros

Simmons is a great place because they live and do business by Simmons Values. Most companies just say one thing and do another, but not Simmons. Simmons is an ever changing business.

Cons

The only downside is not being located in Arkansas. I am in one of their plants and it would be nice to be at the main plant to see what challenges their facing how there doing and how everyone is doing over all.

Pros

Able to get a lot of overtime, pay was decent, paid every week

Cons

Supervisor's would scream at people when things broke down, even if it wasn't that persons fault, not always able to get a day off even if you request off months ahead of date you will need off, hired on for 2nd shift which means you would work from 4pm until around 4am(if you worked the line), and there was a lot of drama that shouldn't have been in the work place
